Alison Daykin - Textile Designer & Artist.
I have been weaving since I was eight, have an 'O' and 'A' Level GCE in 'Craft, Design and Practice - Weaving' and an HNC in 'Hand Woven Textile Design'. As a result of my awards from The Bradford Textile Society I set up Alison Yule Textiles designing and hand weaving bespoke fabrics for fashion and interiors.
My work is inspired by the Peak District which is not far from my home in Derbyshire where I practice my craft following a sustainable ethos.
