Here's the revised schedule we talked about on Monday evening. Just a reminder that you don't have to stick to this schedule, it's a guide for us only. If you feel you want to do something else, spinning, dyeing or felting, let me know.
Monday 2 March - Rigid Heddle Weaving - Building on our design skills we will design and plan a scarf, hanging or runner using the "meet and separate" technique.
Monday 9 March - No Class - I'm teaching in the Hague with Jane Deane.
Monday 16 March -Rigid Heddle Weaving - "Meet and Separate". Continue with design work and planning.
Monday 23 March - Rigid Heddle Weaving - "Meet and Separate". Making warp and warping.
Monday 30 March - Rigid Heddle Weaving - "Meet and Separate". Weaving.
Monday 6 April - Rigid Heddle Weaving - Inlay Techniques. Make practice warp.
Monday 13 April - No Class - Easter.
Monday 20 April - Rigid Heddle Weaving - Finger Manipulated techniques.
Monday 27 April - Rigid Heddle Weaving - Pick-Up Techniques.
Monday 4 May - No Class - Bank Holiday.
Monday 11 May - Rigid Heddle Weaving - Design and plan an item, scarf, bag, runner or cushion using any of the techniques learnt in previous weeks.
Monday 18 May - Rigid Heddle Weaving - Make warp and warping.
Monday 25 May - No Class - Half Term.
Monday 1 June - Kumihimo - What we will need for the next few weeks for Japanese Braid making and what we will be doing.
